Few bands have shaped the sound of British live music like Dr Feelgood. Formed on Canvey Island in 1971, they turned stripped-back rhythm and blues into something urgent and electric, and helped clear the path for the punk explosion that followed.
Decades on, the name still means the same thing it always did: a band built for the room, trading hits and standards at full tilt with no let-up between them.
